Farren & Alison Isle of Skye Wedding Photography. What a pleasure to be with Farren and Alison in a beautiful venue, great backdrops and a lovely Couple. I always think this is the best job one can possibly have. Being with a very happy Couple on their very special day and sharing the whole day with them. Capturing intimate and loving moments. Laughing with the Guests and family. Good weather if we are lucky!
So both Farren and Alison hold down responsible jobs and clearly are very much in love. So as with this wedding, we normally arrive 2.5 hours before the Ceremony and spend some time first of all with the Groom and his mates. The lads never seem to take that long in getting ready and it gives opportunity to have a great crack with them. After about 45 minutes we then go off to the Bride and capture those final getting ready moments. We capture all the detail shots and then have some time alone with the Bride for a few portrait images. During the days proceedings we try and be as unobtrusive as possible, however we do like to have around 45 minutes alone with the Bride and Groom a little bit later on to get those iconic photographs. This is a very special time for the newly married couple and once relaxed they can show their emotions to one another. It certainly worked here with Farren and Alison.
Our end time for a full day shoot is usually around 30 minutes after the First Dance which gives us time to photograph the party atmosphere and then a few final romantic evening images with our Couple.
