Michael & Sammy Inverness Wedding Photographer was yet another fantastic wedding. As you will see Sammy’s Dad got all emotional when seeing her for the first time in her Wedding Dress. The Bridesmaids were determined to make it a fun day and Sammy’s Mum was enjoying the endless supply of Prosecco. Well maybe that is a little exaggeration! Michael and his mates looked super cool in their tweed ensemble and what is more were ready on time when I arrived. View full post »
Farren & Alison Isle of Skye Wedding Photography. What a pleasure to be with Farren and Alison in a beautiful venue, great backdrops and a lovely Couple. I always think this is the best job one can possibly have. Being with a very happy Couple on their very special day and sharing the whole day with them. Capturing intimate and loving moments. Laughing with the Guests and family. Good weather if we are lucky! View full post »
Niel & Sara Isle of Skye Wedding Photographer was delighted to be with these two for their special day. Thomas & Charlotte Isle of Skye Wedding Photography.
Thomas & Charlotte Isle of Skye Wedding Photography what a fun packed day. When I arrived and went to see Thomas there was a distinct feeling of nerves in the air. So we had to take a few shots first to get the ‘Boys’ in the mood. It was very noticeable as the day went on that they all got into it, especially Thomas. It is not unusual for us to have to give quite a lot of direction at the beginning of the wedding day. Thomas, after the first half an hour, took to it like a duck to water! View full post »

Andy & Sarah Isle of Skye Elopement & Wedding Photographer.
Small is beautiful and this small intimate wedding was truly beautiful. After the wedding Andy and Sarah moved out to Australia so it was a bittersweet moment for Sarah’s daughter and family who we know will miss her a lot. The ceremony was held in a discreet venue with all the guests mixing with the Bride and Groom before the actual ceremony. It was delightful to be a part of something so special. View full post »
Jani & Rachel Isle of Skye Wedding was a wonderful occasion with the sun shining on the happy couple. The Isle of Skye is a wonderful place to get married, whether that is a full on wedding or an elopement.
It was a privilege to be with Jani and Rachel on their special day. We started with the boys who were getting ready up in Portnalong. It was lovely to see the full regalia of a Scottish Groom, even if Jani hails from Norway. Then it was down to Fiscavaig Bay to capture Rachel in the final throws of Bridal preparation. What a backdrop as well from their garden. A photographers dream.
Then it was a quick dash to Bracadale for the service, back to Fiscavaig Bay for Jani and Rachel’s photographs, complete with wellies! The day was complete when the three of us went up to Minginish Community Hall for some of the formal group photographs. Although we call them formal I am not an advocate of straight line smile at the camera images. I much prefer to have some fun and create the right atmosphere, after all a wedding is a very happy time!
Rachel is a true local Isle of Skye girl and was able to teach me a few more words of Gaelic as well. Many thanks to you both for choosing Stephen Peters Photography, it was a super day.
John & Jane Isle of Skye Wedding Photographer and Videographer were on hand to record this wonderful wedding. A fabulous time was had by all including a trip to a piece of ground full of cow pats! So we very carefully positioned Jane so that she didn’t end up with a wedding dress that needed an expensive cleaning bill at the end. View full post »
Jamie & Kayleigh Isle of Skye Wedding Photographer in a very unique wedding environment. We knew this would be different when we first spoke to Kayleigh and she outlined what she had got in mind for the day. The venue was to be on the shoreline, the seats would be straw bales with wooden planks, the bridal car a taxi van and the reception to be held in a Tipi. Having said all that it was a glorious day and so relaxed. There is always a first time for everything and for us this was it. So our mission was to produce natural photographs that captured the moments as well as the intimate images that we are known for. You can be the judge of how well we succeeded. This is what Jamie and Kayleigh said ‘Hi Steve. We have had a look through the photos and they’re great, we’re both really happy with them. We’re really pleased with the black and white ones.’
