Wedding Photographer Cumbria with Inn On The Lake Album

We are in the process of compiling a new wedding album for The Inn On The Lake Hotel at Ullswater in Cumbria so thought we would share some of the images taken at Ricci and Penelope’s wedding which we shot last year.  We will be at Inn On The Lake Hotel on the 11th March exhibiting some of our fantastic new Albums and Wedding Stationery, the latter made from some of the images we capture on the pre wedding shoot. Talking pre wedding shoot we also have some really innovative new ideas to show as well.  If you can’t make the wedding fayre then give us a call and we will be happy to meet up at some time to suit both parties.

Wedding Photographers Cumbria with Gary & Jill in Vintage Style

Hi everyone.  Sometimes I get the opportunity to completely re-process a wedding in a different style from how it was first presented. As I am asked for more muted and vintage style wedding photographs sometimes I thought I would rework these photographs from Gary and Jill’s wedding.  They say variety is the spice of life so I will try and make this Blog very spicy!  My first Wedding Fare is coming up on Tuesday 28th February at The Stonecross Manor Hotel.  If you are planning a wedding in the next two years try and come along to see me.  I have got some fantastic Albums to show and really cool DVD presentation cases.  There will also be a very Special Offer for any wedding couple signing up with Stephen Peters Photography on the night.

Regards

Steve

Wedding Photographer Cumbria with Joe and Angela in Bowness

Joe and Angela were married at The Belsfield Hotel Bowness Cumbria on Tuesday in what proved to be a beautiful sunny day.  The staff at The Belsfield Hotel and the General Manager, Roger, were really helpful and made sure the day went really smooth.  Anyone living around the Kendal area with an interest in photography may recognise Joe who works at Wilkinson Cameras in the Westmorland Shopping Centre.  Joe and Angela had hired a stunning old two tone Daimler DS420 Landaulette from  A Touch Of Class to take them from Kendal through to Bowness followed by a trip around the Lake.  For the reception Angela had handmade lots of paper butterflies to decorate the glasses and dining table with some very special ones decorating the Wedding Cake. The speeches were very emotional and Joe almost lost it at one point when he was extolling the virtues of his new wife whom he clearly is very much in love with.  For Ruth and I it was a joy to be with you guys for the day and the many comments received were very much appreciated.  Thank you.

Do I Love You

Do I love you, do I? Doesnt one and one make two?  Do I love you, do I?  Does July need a sky of blue?  Would I miss you, would I, if you ever should go away?  If the sun should desert the day, what would life be?  Will I leave you, never?  Could the ocean leave the shore?  Will I worship you forever?  Isnt heaven forevermore?  Do I love you, do I?  Oh my dear, its so easy to see, Dont you know I do, dont I show you I do,  Just as you love me.  Will I leave you, never?  Could the ocean leave the shore?  Will I worship you forever?  Isnt heaven forevermore?  Do I love you, do I?  Oh my dear its so easy to see,  Dont you know I do, dont I show you I do,  Just as you love me.

Cumbria Wedding Photographer with Mark & Julia in High Wycombe

Mark & Julia were married in High Wycombe and then went on to Hazlemere Golf Club for the Reception.  Whilst not the usual geographic location for wedding photographers in Cumbria it made a pleasant change from the Lake District. Both Mark & Julia are a fun loving young couple and had hired in a Mini Cooper S for the guys to play with, hence the photos to be seen later.  Marks house when we arrived looked like a real Bachelor pad so knowing Julia that will be first on her agenda when they return from their honeymoon in and around Niagra Falls.  Julia’s older sister Astrid was the very first wedding I ever photographed, going back many years now, and funnily enough afterwards I vowed I would never shoot another wedding!  Amazing how we can change our minds.  Mark & Julia’s wedding went like a dream and the Reception, which was held at Hazlemere Golf Club provided plenty of opportunity for cool wedding photographs.  I hope you will agree.  If you would like to talk to us about photographic coverage for your wedding please use the Contact Page.  We would welcome your visit to look through all the Album options and DVD displays we offer.

Wedding Photographers 4You

I have been playing this week with software and thought I would share one or two of my wedding photography experiments.  I appreciate this type of finish may not be everybody’s cup of tea, mug of coffee, shot of whisky etc but some of you might like it!  Anna is the Bride in antique and Esther the Bride in vintage, whose ‘normal’ wedding photographs are on this Blog somewhere else.  But if any you out there would like an odd photo or two treated in this antique or vintage style let me know, I will be more than happy to oblige. February is a busy month for me with two Lifestyle shoots, one Pre Wedding and one Wedding, the latter with Joe and Angela in Windermere.  Keep tuned!

Wedding Photographers Cumbria with Mark and Julia Pre Wedding Photoshoot in Windermere Cumbria

Mark travelled up from High Wycombe, joining Julia at Warrington and then came up to Cumbria for their pre wedding photoshoot.  As the umbrella indicates it was a typical Cumbrian day, however as we patiently waited in Costa at the K Village we were eventually rewarded with a break in the weather and after a few photographs around the Village we set off for Miller ground near Windermere.  The light lasted long enough to get some memorable images one of which Mark and Julia chose for their Signature Board.  Watch out for their Wedding photographs coming soon.

Cumbria Wedding Photography with Richard & Kathryn at Langdale Chase Hotel Windermere

Richard and Kathryn are due to have their Cumbria Wedding in early March this year at the Langdale Chase Hotel near Windermere.  It is a great location for a wedding and I am really looking forward to photographing this good looking couple there.  We had a great time shooting their Pre Wedding and it gave me an opportunity to work out which backdrops to use for the actual wedding.

Talking weddings I would like to mention that Stephen Peters Photography will be exhibiting at the Inn On The Lake Hotel Ullswater Wedding Fayre on the 11th March.  We will have several Albums on show, a running slideshow of our wedding photography and a very special Show offer for those that book with us at the Fayre.  If you have any queries please give us a call.

Cumbria Wedding Photography with Ricci & Penelope at The Inn On The Lake Ullswater Cumbria

What a wonderful place to hold your wedding.  The Inn On The Lake at Ullswater has everything from fantastic scenery, a lawn stretching down to the Lake shore, a Bandstand to hold the ceremony, trips on a Steamer, great food in the Hotel and of course hard working staff.  We met Ricci and Penelope at the Inn On The Lake Hotel about a year before they were due to get married.  We arranged the Pre Wedding shoot which took place in and around Brathay near Ambleside the previous Autumn and then had a fantastic day with them on their Wedding day.  Ricci recently sent me the following email “Id like to take this opportunity to thank you for capturing our day so perfectly for us, the photos are over and above what we imagined, as you know we were spoilt for choice when trying to put them into an album”.  My pleasure!

Wedding Photographers Cumbria with Jules & MaryBeth on Pre Wedding Shoot

I realised going back through 2011’s weddings that I had not published Jules and MaryBeth’s pre wedding shoot to this website, so here it is!  As opposed to the original photoshoot I took the opportunity to play a little more with the photographs particularly in conversion to Black & White.  I realise that Black and White is not everyones cup of tea but there is plenty of colour photography to look at on other shoots I have done.  Jules and MaryBeth were a fantastic couple to work with and I think their love for one another clearly comes through on the photographs.  I hope you agree!

Wedding Photographers Cumbria with Steve & Lorraine in Windermere on Pre Wedding Shoot

A Pre Wedding shoot is meant to be fun, an opportunity for the wedding photographer and the Couple to get to know one another.  Absolute bliss for a Cumbria Wedding Photographer!  It really helps as well for the intended couple to understand how the photographer works.  It is totally relaxed because there is no time pressure.  At Stephen Peters Photography we include a free pre wedding session with every Wedding booked with us because we find it pays great dividends when we shoot the actual wedding.  So on this occasion we went out with Steve and Lorraine and had some fun!  Now your idea of fun may be a little different from Steve and Lorraine’s as they needed little encouragement to get soaking wet in the stream we found in Winster.  They actually chose these photos for their Signature Board.  For those not familiar with the Signature Board a short explanation. From the pre wedding shoot we usually produce around one hundred photos which we upload onto the password protected Client Area.  You then choose one of those photos to be printed and we produce a 24″ * 20″ print surrounded by a 4″ white card mount.  We take this to the wedding reception and Ruth circulates with all your guests and friends inviting them to write messages on the mount.  This is then left with you to choose your own frame.  We have found all of our wedding couples love them.  We also give you a DVD with the rest of the Pre Wedding Photographs on them.  Happy days!
