Wedding Photographers Scottish Highlands – Stephen Peters Photography

We had two Pre Wedding Photoshoots on Saturday, one in the morning with Michael and Katie which we will blog a little later and then in the afternoon with Thomas and Tash.  As is so often the case in the Lake District the weather changed completely over the lunch time period and by the the time Thomas and Tash arrived at the agreed location the rain was coming down hard, as can be seen from some of the photographs.  We have blogged their pre wedding photoshoot first as they are due to get married in May whilst Michael and Katie follow in September.  Anyway both couples got into the swing of things very quickly and although both got very wet (for different reasons as will be seen when we blog Michael and Katie’s shoot) were very much relaxed with the whole process.

Hi to you all.  What a busy week this has been. Two wedding fayres and a wedding.  Kathryn and Richard were married at The Langdale Chase Hotel on Sunday, a beautiful sunny day, a beautiful bride and a fantastic wedding venue.  Kathryn and Richard had both explained when they first contacted us that they were camera shy, so we had suggested a pre wedding shoot which took place a little while back.  There is no doubt this helped with the photoshoot on Sunday where Richard was totally relaxed and Kathryn almost relaxed!  It is such a great place with wonderful backdrops in the Banqueting Hall and gardens that run down to Lake Windermere. We all had a great time and we managed to get Kathryn to crack up a few times.

After just over one year publishing a wedding blog we seem to have hit a cord with Clients looking for a wedding photographer with well over 50 enquiries directed to the Schtuff Photography stand at the Fayres. Amazing.  This week we delivered the GraphiStudio Album to Ed and Sarah and I received the following text  “Just wanted to say a big thank you for our Album.  It is Fab!  So many lovely memories from our day that you’ve captured perfectly.  We’re thrilled with the Album.”  It is so rewarding to get feedback like this and it was a wonderful day we had with them both, even though it rained hard all day!  Anyway busy times ahead as we have a Pre Wedding photoshoot this weekend with Michael and Katy at Tarn Hows, yet another wonderful Lake District location, and then followed up by another Cherish The Dress session.

Rachel has been married going on for 9 years but was keen to relive the day she slipped into her wedding dress and lo and behold it still was the right size!  So off we went to a local mill and were able to spend Monday morning getting some special shots for her Album.  Ruth came along to attend to the small but important details that, as a bloke, I can sometimes miss and of course make the coffee, which as there wasn’t any heat in the Mill was most welcome.

We are in the process of compiling a new wedding album for The Inn On The Lake Hotel at Ullswater in Cumbria so thought we would share some of the images taken at Ricci and Penelope’s wedding which we shot last year.  We will be at Inn On The Lake Hotel on the 11th March exhibiting some of our fantastic new Albums and Wedding Stationery, the latter made from some of the images we capture on the pre wedding shoot. Hi everyone.  Sometimes I get the opportunity to completely re-process a wedding in a different style from how it was first presented.
